Hurtado De Notaris is a law firm established in Belgium, Italy and Brazil, with an office in Brussels specialized in International and European trade law. Its principal, Diego De Notaris, holds an LL.M. from the University of Amsterdam and two post-graduate diplomas in international and European affairs at the SIOI (Società Italiana per l’Organizzazione Internazionale) and ISTUD (Istituto Italiano Studi Legislativi) in Rome. Before establishing himself in Brussels in 1998, Diego worked with the Legal Service of the EU Council and with several law firms in Washington, D.C., Brussels and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The firm’s international trade clients include various leading Asian and American producers and exporters in the automotive, chemical, electronics and textile sectors and the respective industry associations, and European importers in the steel sector.
